The HPR Group
The HPR Group, loosely based in Northern England and North
Wales, is a group of HPR enthusiasts that promotes the training and
development of HPR gundogs for use in the shooting field. We work our
dogs during the shooting season across the region and we perform grouse
and partridge counting for several national groups as well as shoot
owners and organizations involved in Moorland regeneration. Our members
compete in Field Trials, Pointing Tests and Working Tests to test our
dogs working ability. We are developing the HPR Group web site as a means
of communicating our interest and knowledge of HPR's to the wider gundog
and shooting community.
